I no longer like to use the term “Vegan” and prefer the more accurate and self-explanatory name Plant-Based. With so many millions of people switching to a plant-based diet, whether it is on a part-time basis, sometimes referred to as “Flexitarian”, or whether cutting out all meats except fish (Pescatarian), or dropping all meat and fish completely but still eating dairy and egg (Vegetarian), or going fully Plant-Based, humanity is changing the way it eats. The change is happening in huge staggering numbers that are set to grow exponentially during the 20’s. This change of diet is a global phenomenon sweeping across the entire planet, wherever people have access to information, and is fueled by the shift in consciousness humanity is undergoing…

The fastest-growing demographic cohort of society making the change is Gen-Z, that is the younger folks born from the mid 1990’s to 2010, and understandably so. As our knowledge of what conventional farming, industrial farming, and animal factory farming is doing to our Planet, people naturally change in response and it is the younger generations that are feeling the pain & the madness of our ‘old ways’ the most. I spoke to a group of younger Gen-Z’s the other day in MANA!, who were all boisterously munching on their Flats and sipping their juices, and I asked them if they were plant-based, and one of them looked at me rather disbelievingly and nonchalantly said “ DAAH!”. I was taken aback momentarily and then just burst into the biggest smile and high-fived them all. Certainly, a most pleasant and memorable moment in time for me.

Our clarion call of “Diet Change Not Climate Change” is reverberating across our Planet getting louder and louder with each new baby born into this our transformational world. A Global Mind Change about our diets and the impact our choices of food is having upon all of creation is bubbling up from the depths of our Consciousness and jumping from mind to mind as if by osmosis and speeding up the change we need to see in the world.

And know this, that no economic, political, military, or social force can stop this metanoia.

Its exponential growth is here to grow.
